- I want to go back to Germany, and actually see the country. I

- I have SO wanted to travel my whole life, and I mean internationally.
It came from my mother, whom was Argentine. Because I can't afford
to travel just yet, and my husband has next to no interest in travelling,
I have succumbed to reading armchair travel books, listening to World
Music and watching foreign films. I am heavy into food, so I even
research food of that region and try and create that culture!
Anyway, I would love to travel to: Australia, New Zealand, England,
Scotland, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Hong
Kong, Uruguay...
- To lose weight.
- To be picked up by a recognized food publication as a food writer.

end to poverty etc
- On a personal level- good health for myself, my friends and my family
To be happy and content... and endless supply of books to read (lol)
etc
- But this isn't my wish. Sometimes I've read a book and really wanted
to be part of it or wished I'd known the characters. So I'd like
a machine that would allow me to visit inside some of my favourite
books. If this machine also allowed me to go back in time so I could
meet authors like Will Shakespeare, The Bronte's and Charles Dickens
that would be cool too.
- Don't ask for much do I? lol

- My boyfriend and myself would like to see Iron Maiden but they
won't come to Vancouver anymore because there are not enough heavy
metal fans here. The closest places are eastern Canada or California.
There is NO WAY we can afford to go there or even to pay for the
tickets!
- Second wish is an electric guitar for my boyfriend. He is an excellent
guitarist but he doesn't have an electric guitar and he likes metal
so it's not really the same on an acoustic! < This is also MY
wish because I get a lot of enjoyment out of listening to him play.

- This is really hard to admit but I'm inspired by some of the others.
I wish for contentment and the ability to just be. I have a wonderful,
loving husband, two gorgeous, intelligent children, nice house, family,
friends etc. and still I can get so worked up about life. I have periods
of contentment and then other times I sit and think and there's this
nagging in my mind and I can't relax and I don't know why I'm not happy.
Of course it's a bit more complex than that but that's my wish, to just be.

- I'd like my Mother to take an interest in my wedding plans, as
she did with my sisters, instead of pushing me off. I'd like her
to go dress shopping with me.
- I'd like to find a nice place to get married that won't charge
me double the price because I live out-of-town or am not a member
of the parish.
- I'd like my sister and her daughter to stop making catty remarks
at my expense to my face.
- I'd like to find meaningful work, or, failing that, a position
where I am not required to wear a name tag.
- I'd like to pass my History test today.
- I'd like my family to be more supportive of my goals.
- I would like to take T'ai Chi, ballet and yoga lessons.
- I would like a roll of duct tape so the noisy people in my classes
will finally be quiet.
- I would like a scholarship to college because without it I won't
be able to continue.
- It would be nice to find self-worth within and stop jumping up
and down at my age, trying to get positive attention and praise from
my parents. I am in my thirties. I would further prefer not to be
compared to my older sister. I would like not to be repeatedly told
she is the favorite of all of us, the best one, the smartest one
and therefore worthy of all good that can possibly come.
- I'd like to attend a nice college because it has a program I want,
not because I want to prove to my parents that I *am* good enough
to get in.
- I would like to find a good therapist.
- I would like to find a support group in my area for family members
of people with Asperger's Syndrome.
- I would like a nap.
